Do you need 2 images?

The description is a bit confusing.
"Relight Figure 1 using the luminance map from Figure 2 (light source from the front)".

Is figure 2 the second picture? Or is Figure2 just the text (light source from the front)? (or left, or above, or whatever)
I tried it like so (One picture input + prompt) and it didn't work as well as I'd hoped. It changes the CHARACTER'S direction, not the lighting. Using the latest version.

(Edit: Nevermind... it works just fine with "reference latent" node.)

This control method is similar to the previous IC-Light. Figure 2 shows a texture of the light source shape, and the text only controls the direction of the light source.

Thank you for the reply. Where do you find these reference light source images? Just search for them each time or do you have a folder with each type? They'd come in handy.

Have you ever worked with Cinema 4D or Blender rendering? GSG has released many black and white textures, often used as lighting textures, but they're also quite useful for this.

I am using 2 images, one is original subject and other image is light source with specific color, but its not taking color of light into account and generates an relight image with plane white color

You can try the ray-shifting LoRa example I released; I'll explore more controllable methods later.
